Beta Program Terms

Welcome to PageTurner's beta program. By using our service, participating in the beta program, or accessing our translated documentation, you agree to these terms.

1. Beta Software

PageTurner is currently in beta testing. The service is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. This is pre-release software that may contain bugs, errors, or incomplete features.

2. No Guarantees

We do not guarantee:

• Translation accuracy, quality, or completeness
• Service uptime or availability
• Continued operation of the beta program
• Preservation of your data or configurations
• That the service will meet your specific requirements

3. Your Content and Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to your original documentation and any translations produced by PageTurner. We claim no ownership over your content.

By using our service, you grant us permission to process your documentation solely for the purpose of providing translation services.

4. Our Rights

We reserve the right to:

• Modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice
• Change these terms at any time (we'll notify beta participants)
• Transition from free beta to a paid service
• Terminate beta access for any user at our discretion
• Use aggregated, anonymized usage data to improve our service

5. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any damages arising from:

• Translation errors or inaccuracies in generated content
• Service downtime, data loss, or unavailability
• Bugs, errors, or defects in the beta software
• Any reliance on translated content for business or production use
• Third-party integrations (GitHub, Vercel, etc.)

You use PageTurner at your own risk. For production use cases, we recommend human review of all translations.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purposes
• Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or exploit the service
• Overload our systems or abuse rate limits
• Use the service to translate content you don't have rights to
• Resell or redistribute our translation services

7. Beta Feedback

We welcome your feedback! By providing suggestions, bug reports, or feature requests, you grant us the right to use this feedback to improve PageTurner without compensation or attribution.

8. Privacy and Data

Your privacy is important to us. Please see our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your personal information and documentation content.

9. Open Source Documentation

PageTurner is designed to serve open source documentation projects. We respect the licenses of the projects we translate and expect users to do the same.

10. Termination

You may stop using PageTurner at any time. We may terminate your access to the beta program at our discretion, particularly if you violate these terms.

11. Changes to Terms

As we iterate on our beta program, these terms may change. We'll notify active beta participants of material changes via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where PageTurner operates. Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.
