Getting Started

PageTurner is a managed service. You don't install or configure anything — you provide your repository, and we handle translation, deployment, and maintenance.

For Open Source Projects

Founding Partner Program

We offer free translation for select high-profile open source projects in exchange for official endorsement and case study participation.

Eligibility:

  • Public repository with active community
  • Quality documentation (we need good source content to translate well)
  • Willingness to provide official endorsement

How to apply:

  1. Submit an application with your repository URL and target languages
  2. We evaluate your project and confirm eligibility
  3. We translate your documentation and deploy to Vercel
  4. You review the output and provide feedback
  5. Your multilingual docs go live

What we need from you:

  • Repository URL (or monorepo path to docs)
  • Target languages
  • Any terminology preferences (e.g., terms that should stay untranslated)

What we deliver:

  • Translated documentation site per language, deployed to Vercel
  • CI/CD pipeline that keeps translations in sync with your source
  • Translation memory for efficient ongoing updates

Timeline: Initial translation typically takes a few hours. Deployment follows immediately.

For Commercial Projects

Beta Access

We offer flexible beta pricing with a free sample translation so you can evaluate quality before committing.

How it works:

  1. Contact us with your project details
  2. We translate a sample of your documentation — free, no commitment
  3. You review the quality
  4. If satisfied, we onboard your full documentation
  5. Ongoing updates are handled automatically via CI/CD

What we need from you:

  • Repository URL (or monorepo path to docs)
  • Target languages
  • Any specific terminology or glossary requirements

What we deliver:

  • Same as OSS: translated sites on Vercel with CI/CD
  • Priority support
  • Custom integrations if needed

Pricing: ~$0.05–0.15 per page per language. Updates cost 60–80% less thanks to translation memory. Contact us for a detailed estimate.

What Happens After Onboarding

Once your documentation is translated and deployed:

  • Source changes are detected automatically — no action needed from you
  • Only changed content gets retranslated — saves cost and time
  • Redeployment is automatic — updated translations go live without manual intervention
  • You can request additional languages at any time

Supported Languages

100+ languages available. Most popular:

Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified/Traditional), Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Swedish

Quality is highest for major languages (91+/100) and remains strong for less common languages (85–90/100).
